Domjur, March 1, 2022: To reduce the number of street accidents, the West Bengal Government has launched the 'Safe Drive Save Life' campaign. Yesterday, ABC High School in the district of Howrah held a demonstration and campaign to raise public awareness about the government's proposal. Students held a demonstration in the area of town around 11 a.m., carrying placards and chants. They were directed by the teachers. A small group of kids staged a street performance to encourage people to wear helmets and follow traffic laws while driving. They also made people aware of the consequences of disobeying traffic regulations. At the conclusion of the demonstration, a theatrical performance was conducted on the school grounds. The address of the Headmaster kicked off the program. He discussed the advantages of the "Safe Drive, Save Life" campaign and encouraged everyone to drive and walk safely on the road. The pupils then conducted a brief cultural show in which they attempted to communicate the message of the campaign to other students through music and dancing. Finally, the honorable MLA, Mr. Saptarshi Khanra delivered a strong message, bringing the program to a conclusion.
